Dear RSU #34 Schools Families,
I wanted to reach out with a few details regarding the remainder of our 2019-天天乐棋牌 school year.
Our last official calendar day of the 2019-天天乐棋牌 school year will be Friday, June 12th. Teachers will work with students and families The week of June 8th through June 12th focusing on the continued social/emotional support of and connection with our students and wrapping up our year with activities that can bring a sense of closure as well as suggesting summer learning opportunities. Information will be made available about a summer feeding program as soon as we have further information regarding State and federal rules and guidelines.
We will begin the collection of school issued computers the week of June 8-12th. More information will follow about drop-off times and locations.
Old Town High School students will have until Friday June 12th to hand in their final work. Students who are in good standing, based on the preponderance of evidence from the entire school year, will matriculate to the next grade and new courses.
Regional School Unit #34 wants every student to be healthy and able to manage their worries and any anxiety they might be experiencing. Please note, the Teen Text Support Line is not a crisis line but a way for teens to have someone to talk to if they are anxious and just need a friendly ear. Also, do not hesitate to reach out to any of the RSU #34 schools as well and also dial 2-1-1 for information on the COVID-19 crisis in Maine.
We will be sharing, in the coming weeks, information regarding any summer programming that is possible based on state and national regulations and on recommendations from the Center for Disease Control. We also will be sharing information on our plans to celebrate our fantastic Class of 天天乐棋牌!
The day will come when our students are able to return to a regular school schedule in our buildings. In the meantime, we remain committed to the support of our school families.
